Jake battled injury all season and when it was the pressure moment, he rose to the occasion, giving us a 1-0 lead we would never relinquish. ( Here is a list of my top 10 goals I created at the beginning of the bracket) Playoff Jake (Johns) and his strike against Columbus North in the state championship has a special place in my heart. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that my favorite goal of 2022 was knocked out in the Final Four. So whether you favor his wonderful volley against Penn in Semi-State or his last minute heroics against Warsaw in the Regional Semifinal, Sam Holland is your 2022 champion. Two of his strikes have made it to the championship. But we do know that the goal of the year comes off the boot of Sam Holland. The 2022 Goal of the Year is yet to be determined. No refunds will be issued for weather cancellations.We have a winner! Well not exactly. There will be one scheduled make-up game for the first game that gets canceled. Games will not be started or continued to be played if a thunderstorm warning, tornado warning, or severe weather warning has been issued by the National Weather Service or lightning is seen in the area. The coaches from each team will conference with the referees to determine whether a game will or will not be played due to weather or playing field conditions. 1st – 6th Grade On game days if it is raining, teams MUST show up at their scheduled game time and field.

Coaches who make the decision to cancel must contact their team at least one (1) hour prior to their scheduled start time. Little Kickers/Kinder Kickers On scheduled days if it is raining, a coach from each team must contact the coach from the opposing team to determine if conditions are safe for play.
